Valued team member retires

Gordon Ryan, Research Associate in the InHANSE group since 2016 retires.
Gordon who has worked at the University of Birmingham since 2002 in various roles retired at the end of September. Being the modest person that he is he did not want any fuss, but we could not let the occasion go without marking it. Pizza and cake were arranged and gifts and cards were plentiful. Gordon has worked at the University in quite a few groups and was a much loved member of the University Staff.
Gordon will continue to coach swimming in the evenings and will also have time to play squash. He is hoping that he and Anne will be able to spend more time travelling.
