Award for Professor Mehanna

At the University of Birmingham Founders' Awards Ceremony, Professor Mehanna recently won The Josiah Mason Award for Business Advancement for his work advocating business engagement activity within the College and for leading on many significant industry collaborations over the course of last year. One of his key achievements has been to establish a platform (AcceleraTED) to accelerate the translation of new anti-cancer agents into clinical practice in head and neck cancer.
The Founders’ Awards celebrate the very best academic work from across the University which has significantly contributed to the advancement of the University’s reputation both nationally and internationally.
